Art by Kelvin Morris | Haiku by Angela Rebrec
Sketched in Disappointment is a striking nine-piece ekphrastic collection—poetry written in response to works of art—intertwining the evocative pen-and-ink drawings of Kelvin Morris with the contemplative haiku of Angela Rebrec.
Each card invites you into a realm where abstract imagery meets concise verse, exploring themes of failure, introspection, and fleeting moments. From the intrusive symbolism of a rooster’s crow to quiet reflections on missed opportunities, this collection urges you to ponder the delicate interplay between disappointment and resilience in the fabric of everyday life. As you take in each image and poem, reflect on the beauty in moments of vulnerability and the strength that arises from embracing life’s inevitable challenges.
Printed on archival-quality paper, each card in this series is an individual piece of art—perfect for displaying, framing, or sending a deep, meaningful message.
• Cards size 5×7
• Ships as a boxed set
